Sr. Security Software Engineer, Application Security
About the role
Design and build out our rules, processes, and platform for our secure development lifecycle; deliver and review code that is well-documented, tested, and operable; work cross function to architect scalable and secure solutions to a variety of Pinterest’s problems; conduct regular security assessments including design reviews; help rework our existing controls to address increased productivity due to AI and new AI threats.
Candidates will join an innovative team pushing engineering boundaries. Depending on the domains associated with this job, you will be expected to design clean APIs, write automated test cases, and participate in peer code reviews. We value developers who focus on performance optimization, fast load times, and simple, maintainable architectures.
