Engineering Manager I, Innovative Ad Formats
About the role
Lead an engineering team delivering mid-funnel ad products end to end, ensuring projects are well-scoped, de-risked, and shipped on time with strong performance against target metrics. Drive initiatives to apply AI across mid-funnel ad products, champion AI adoption in developer workflows, use AI to synthesize complex inputs into clear insights that inform roadmap, tradeoffs, and technical decisions, serve as the engineering owner for this workstream: define the technical roadmap, architecture, and long-term vision in partnership with cross-functional partners (PM, Design, DS, PMM), actively contribute code and lead implementation of key projects, set a high technical bar and model best practices in design, testing, and observability, build and maintain a healthy, high-trust team culture, provide coaching, feedback, and career development support to engineers at different levels, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly.

Depending on the domains associated with this job, you will be expected to design clean APIs, write automated test cases, and participate in peer code reviews.
