Senior Director, Security Engineering
About the role
The role involves setting strategic vision and roadmap for Security Engineering team, focusing on product security, infrastructure security, IT security with a particular focus on AI security. It also includes leading, mentoring, and strengthening the team of security engineers, defining guardrails around AI agents and tools operating within Ripple's environment, implementing and enforcing agentic SDLC guardrails, testing gates, and human oversight of AI-assisted development workflows.
Candidates will join an innovative team pushing engineering boundaries. Depending on the domains associated with this job, you will be expected to design clean APIs, write automated test cases, and participate in peer code reviews.
