SRE Operations Engineer
About the role
The role involves ensuring smooth operations of Okta's Customer Identity Cloud, including updating/patching, maintaining service desk queue, monitoring platform health, and assisting with capacity, performance, and scalability testing. The candidate will also be an escalation point for platform issues from customer support teams and interface with the SRE team to report core issues, required improvements, and new feature requests.
Candidates will join an innovative team pushing engineering boundaries. Depending on the domains associated with this job, you will be expected to design clean APIs, write automated test cases, and participate in peer code reviews.
