Senior Engineer, GNC - Sensor Integration (R4601)
About the role
The role involves working across at least two of the electrical, mechanical, and software domains. It requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related field with demonstrated ability to work across these domains. The candidate should have basic scripting/programming skills for data analysis (Python, MATLAB, etc.) and familiarity with sensor communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.). Hands-on experience with lab equipment and sensor testing is required. Experience with navigation or localization sensors (IMUs, GNSS, cameras, altimeters, etc.), sensor calibration activities, and basic proficiency with engineering tools such as Altium, NX, and Teamcenter are desirable.
Candidates will join an innovative team pushing engineering boundaries. Depending on the domains associated with this job, you will be expected to design clean APIs, write automated test cases, and participate in peer code reviews.
